Avens Release Day
It's heeeeeerrrreee!!! Available on Amazon! Okay, so the Kindle edition is live, but the paperback is a few days off. Let me explain why this is... KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) does this cute little thing where, once you input all of your stuff, they review it in 72 hours and then IMMEDIATELY publish it. They don't give you the option for them to review it and then you hold off until the actual release date. This eliminates your ability to have any paperbacks available for

Day 1
This is it. The last day before the release. It feels like that calm before the storm. You don't know exactly what comes next, but you know there's going to be a flurry of activity surrounding it. More than anything, I'm excited to have the whole series out there and to get the feedback from it. I want to hear what people think and I want to discuss all of the people in my head. There's so much I haven't been able to say about the PMC because the last book wasn't out yet. Now

Day 2!
There are only 2 more days until Avens releases and I don't really know how to handle this, honestly. Oh crap, I need to go add all of these quotes to GoodReads. I just thought about that. Well, that'll be fun. Another fun thing I just thought of, maybe on the bookaversary for Ivy this year I'll do a major spoiler segment where I discuss EVERYTHING about this series. I can answer questions that people have or just gush about things that I'm not allowed to discuss before Avens

Day 3 and Character Musings
For those of you who have not read the previous books, you might want to back out now. You probably won't understand a single thing of what I say next. Also, potential spoilers for the previous books... Still here? Okay... I love Matt! This entire scene between him and Lex had me cracking up. Of all the people in Lex's life, he is the one that has never held back with her. When shit goes sideways, he's willing to tell her exactly where she screwed up. And when he's done with

Day 4
You know, just looking at this quote, it's making it so hard not to give out spoilers left and right. For those of you who don't know, I began writing "Ivy" way back when I was 19. I stopped for about three months whilst in the middle of it to work on something else and publish that. When I picked it back up, I then wrote all five books back-to-back. Seven years have passed since I wrote the last word in Avens the first time. In those seven years, I've written ten novels and

Day 5 and Pre-Order
So I have really fun news alongside the quote picture. Yesterday, I managed to get everything for the kindle version set up. Well, as it happens, I was able to get it all submitted and actually be able to set up the release date. (Which I didn't know how to do prior to then.) What this actually means now is that the kindle version of Avens is up for Pre-Order! So if you are interested in having it delivered to your kindle immediately upon its release, just click here. Avens i

6 More Days
As previously stated, you will now get another quote from Avens as we countdown to release day! Also, I just uploaded all of the Kindle stuff to Amazon and they are currently processing it to see if it meets pre-order requirements. (If I had known how to do this, it would have been done months ago. But that's the learning curve for ya...) So maybe in a couple of days I'll have even more good news for you guys!
Anyway, here we have another quote that I adore. (I think I actu

The Countdown Begins
January 21, 2019 That's the day that Avens officially releases! Which means we only have seven days to wait before we can all delve into Lex's last adventure. As exciting as it is, it is also still bittersweet for me. I first wrote began this series when I was 19 years old. It's been eight years and I will finally be able to see the last book in print. If you asked me back then whether or not I would go this far with this series, I would have said, "Probably not." Publishing
