On Vacation

So it's been almost a month since I updated the blog. That's fine. I do not have the energy to care too much about it right now. I do have a couple of reviews that I've started, but haven't yet completed. One of them is most definitey the Tractive rant, so stay tuned for that. I'm still working on a book review for #authorfriendJen's latest release. Again: see no energy.

Instead of worrying about any of the million of things I left behind at home, I'm focusing on my family. It has been almost a year since I saw my mommy, and I am very much not okay with that. So I'm on vacation visiting her and my sister, nieces, and BIL. But I'm mostly here to see her.

I only have a day left. I'm making the most of it. So far, we've gone to a Halloween event at Magical Forest, to Zak Bagans' Haunted Museuam, and tonight we're going to watch a horror movie. There have been long walks with the dog. Plans considered for Christmas, and overall the time hasn't passed by too quickly, for which I am extremely grateful.

One day of rest left. Then a long day of travel. Then right back where I left off in the thick of things. Wish me luck.

Also, the best thing we've been to so far is Gladius The Show featuring acrobatics and horses. Go see it. IT'S FREE!! Gladius is part of a non-profit and they run entirely on donations and some classes. Seriously, check it out. Their shows are amazing and they run pretty much every weekend. All October long, they have a new theme for each weekend. We got to see the Witches & Warlock show, and it was great to see that the performers were having just as much fun as the audience. So I guess that's my current review, lol. I'd post the pics/video, but the site thinks downloading takes too long. Ah well.

Okay, I'm done. Time to get ready for some Capriotti's (an AMAZING sub shop in Vegas) and hit the drive-in.
