After one of the most tumultous, infuriating weeks of the year, I finally have something to celebrate. I hit 250 days of writing!! To end this day on a bang, I managed to put 771 new words into DK:TL. It's still grossly over-written. I mean, it's almost at 119k words. I expect it to reach 120k before I can end it. So, we all know how stories start, right? Something–a song, a book, a movie, a phrase, whathaveyou–triggers a scene. A thought. A 'what if?' question. And then you're off. There are people in your brain, voices in your head, and scenes amassing, begging to be written. So you write. Just a snippet here. A line there.
