Favorite Quotes

It is a fact universally acknowledged that your favorite quotes reveal a lot about yourself. Those soft, poetic lines that reveal your dreams. The more poignant sentiments that show your flavor of cynicism. Even the random bits of dialogue that will make sense to no one else, but tell everyone what your brand of humor is. They all intertwine in the tapestry of your personality. And it's beautiful.

As a reader, I of course have a ton of quotes by favorite authors. (As a human being, do you think I can recall but a few in this exact moment? Absolutely not.) I probably have just as many (if not more) from my favorite movies. But there's something extra special when you write something and it just ... hits.

As a tribute to my own brilliance, I'm going to drop some of my favorite quotes in here from things I've written. Because I can, that's why. So here are my favorite Hollow Ryan quotes:

Thankfully, as I continue writing, I create more of these gems for myself. Though if I had to pick a Top 3, without context, I think it would go:

1. Love is an emotion. Loyalty is a choice.

2. Choose your consequences carefully.

3. You're vulnerable, not incompetent.

Out of all of them, those are the only ones I could look at and go, "Yeah, someone could turn that into a tattoo." Or, as in the case of my friend group, a daily positive encouragement.

Well, that's it for now. Guess it's time to stop goofing around and go back to working on the story.
