The Work Begins ... Again

Way, way back in the early 2010s, I began to write a story. It was inspired by the target demographic on the site it was initially posted on, and geared toward younger teenagers. That story grew into a five book series, and here we are.

It's been well past ten years since the series was first begun. However, we are just now sneaking up on the tenth anniversary of Ivy being published. In honor of this huge milestone, new editions will be released.

Hence the title: the work begins ... again.

After ten years, not everything has aged well with the books. There are some minor edits I wish to partake in. New acknowledgements to write. Copyright updates. So on and so forth.

Yet, we all know the biggest change these books will experience: NEW COVERS!!

I'm probably more excited than anyone since I've never been a fan of people on book covers. Also, this will give them a fresher take and the chance to gain traction with a new audience, which I'm most excited for.

To top it off: I've purchased my own ISBNs. Which means that I will be able to sell on other platforms besides Amazon!! Woohoo!! It's almost like I'm a big kid author now, lol.

Anyway, I've begun the task of getting Ivy in shape once more. Then I get to move onto the others. Over the course of about ten weeks, I would guess. If I stick to it and get all five done by early September, I'll be thrilled. Wish me luck!
