Overdue

So, obviously this post is very overdue. You can blame #authorfriendJen. I know I said the next post would probably be a review of her book, but this one isn't because I'm on a time crunch. Honestly, between all the jobs and my own writing, it just took longer to read it than I was anticipating. Some pivotal scenes have since been changed, so I'm waiting for another eARC in order to delve into it as a reader and not as someone working on it. Which is always fun.

That said, I won't leave you with nothing. Jen sent me the playlist on Spotify, so here's the link to that for those of you wanting to get a hint of the vibes. Honestly, it was a fun surprise for me to learn that Jen and I have the same taste in music. I mean, I like a huge variety of music, but moody lyrical is definitely what I listen to the most when writing. So to see the playlist and go "I know that song!" and "I LOVE that song!" was so fun. Of course, I also recommended a song, so gold star for me.

Other than that, all I can do is recommend you look out for Reign Publishing or Jennifer Anne Davis on Facebook, Instagram, whathaveyou to see snippets and teasers for Deceptive Inheritance. Right now, I have to get back to my own writing, which you'll also get a bit of an update on at a later date. Oh, but I am going to give you this teaser for it because it's so fucking funny out of context.

Honestly, I'm going to have to make more promo stuff for DK:TL sometime soon. But right now, it's back to writing it.
