Avens Is Done

Y'know, I used to say that Oleander was my favorite. This was more or less because you see the relationship budding between Lex and Nathan and it's all kinds of cuteness.
Y'all, I finished Avens in a day. In two sittings. I started at approximately 9pm and forced myself to stop reading at 1am. That was 240 pages in one sitting. Then I picked it back up at around noon and finished it off by 2pm.
I love Avens. I thought the Lex/Nathan relationship was oh so cute in Oleander, but in this one I felt all the anticipation. I was 35 pages in going "I just wanna sqooosh you paces!!!" (translation: KISS ALREADY!!). It was legit hard for me to realize they were still in the "just friends" stage and not yet ready to admit their feelings (or recognize them, in Lex's case). All the feels. Just ... all the feels.
Anyway, I did finish the reread in two sittings. Took three to send off the doc. Then I spent an evening assigning all of the ISBNs (yay me) and prepped some of the title stuff in the printing hub. Now it really is all on my wifey. I'm going to owe her SO BIG after this. Y'all should send me ideas. (Other than money because it's kind of obvious that I will pay her. Certainly more than I did when we did this the first time, lol.)
As per usual, I feel like I'm toeing the line of this deadline. That said, I'm so ready to publish more things. Which means I have to go finish other things. Therefore, I'll leave you with a few more quotes and then I'm done.
At some point, I will make the PMC Spoilery Things Pt 5. When I can have a coherent thought about any part of the book that isn't rejoicing in the Lex and Nathan reunification. Until then, back to working on the admin stuff.
