Cover Reveal Coming Soon

Okay, so you all know I'm that author that is one of those last minute people. Which means that basically as soon as something's done I thrust it all on you and I don't wait the prerequisite amount of time before giving you the next thing.

Like the cover. So, as far as I'm concerned (we'll see how it looks on an actual proof copy) the cover is complete. Now, most authors have had their cover done and released months before the book is coming out in order to build hype. I don't. My covers get released about a month before the book is released.

There are several, several reasons for this (including but not limited to the weather making it impossible to get decent cover photos) but the main one is simply that I typically pick a date and then try to squeeze things together before we hit it. One of those things is the cover. The formatting. The proof copy. And then the release.

That's what I do. It's not what is supposed to be done, and I plan to do better in future. This is still my learning curve.

I don't know how to build an audience or generate a following, I can admit that. One of my problems, I know, is that the PMC goes from MG to YA with a nuance of NA in Avens. It's hard to find the right niche in the market for that kind of thing. For the 'growing series'.

That being said, I more or less write for myself anyway. Though, to be fair, I think this series I began with myself and ended up continuing just for my sister's sake. And now the last book is almost here and I can picture her reaction perfectly. It makes me happy.

And now you're all wondering what the rambling has to do with anything. You were promised cover information.

Yes, the book jacket is done. Cover, back cover, and spine.

I'm so excited!

And because I'm excited, I'm sharing all this info with you lovely folks. Along with a plea. I'm going to release the cover and announce the release date on Friday, December 14, 2018. On that day, if you kind angels could share it everywhere, I would be deeply grateful.

Word of mouth is still the best way to sell literally anything, but especially books. So please, please consider spreading the word on this one. Every little bit helps.

So, after putting you all through that, I'm going to make you wait to see the actual cover. But I'm not the very worst person in the world. For that reason, you're going to get a look at the back cover tonight. (I know it's not much, but I do have to build the hype for SOME things.) Now here you are, and I will say goodnight!
